We are excited to announce that we will be offering monthly community outreach clinics at our Rocket Dog Urban Sanctuary in Oakland. We will see pets on a first-come, first-served basis. We will be providing core vaccines for our local community cats and dogs. We will, also, be offering other essential treatments for a nominal fee. Free microchips will also be available for spayed and neutered pets. Unaltered pets, microchips will be $10. Litters of puppies or kittens, will be $10 per littermate. If your pet needs a personalized tag, don’t worry, we’ve got you! We are also doing free customized tags for your pets.

Nobody's Perfekt Dogs & Cats will be showing our kittens & cats this SATURDAY, FEB. 18TH from 12:00-2:00 at the MONTCLAIR PET FOOD EXPRESS. It's located at 2220 Mountain Blvd. near Park Blvd. Although our kitties are in nice foster homes, it's not the same as having their own forever home. Our adoption fee of $100 includes spay/neuter, vet check, vaccines, microchip, combo test for FIV/FeLV, deworming, & flea meds. Please come for a visit and you might find the perfect companion!

Hayward Regional Shoreline in Hayward, CA is dog friendly and allows leashed pets in designated areas. This spacious wetlands park boasts gravel shoreline trails and is a popular spot for birdwatching and jogging. Visitors who bring Fido should watch for signs with park rules pertaining to pets. In order to protect wildlife, dogs are not allowed south of the West Winton Avenue flood control channel. Fido is also not permitted inside the Interpretive Center.

Take your pet for an on-leash hike throughout this large, lovely nature preserve, or let them run free in the 17.5-acre area located in the center of the preserve, accessible from the Cordilleras Trail, Polly Geraci/Hassler Trails and the Blue Oak Trail. Be careful as the area is fenced and signed at entrances, but there is no fencing around the off-leash area. Dogs must be on a leash when outside of the off-leash area.

The Redwood Valley Railway, also known as the Tilden Steam Train, is a dog-friendly attraction in Orinda, CA. This 15 inch gauge steam railway circles through the forest lined with more than 600 coast redwood trees, specifically planted by the railway. The cars are small, open air with benches and the trip lasts about 15 minutes. There are restrooms and a small gift shop at the boarding site. Any size dog is welcome but all dogs must remain leashed while on the train. Hours vary by season so be sure to check their website for current schedule.

Seal Point Park includes pathways for walking, cycling, and bird watching. You can walk the boardwalk along the Bay Marshes with your leashed pup, too.

Please note that dogs and people are not allowed in the creek or on the banks as the creek is a protected area.
